Boys & Girls Club of Central Texas

The Central Texas chapter of the Boys and Girls Club now offers more to the young people who utilize their services--a solar-powered facility and education! Thanks to a $30,000 donation from Sun Club, combined with a contribution from the non-profit itself and the utility, a 25 kW array is providing pollution-free electricity and monthly electricity savings for the next 25-30 years! Those funds are going right back into their mission to offer a safe, healthy and rewarding place for all  young people of the Killeen community to meet after school and during the summers. 

In addition to the solar array, the donation from the Sun Club will include solar education that is interactive and informative.
