Project Overview
Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council is one of the largest Girl Scout councils in the country serving more than 65,000 girl members and 17,000 adults in 26 southeast Texas counties. It builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place.
The Sun Club solar array installed on the roof provides pollution-free power and inspiration to do things differently throughout the organization. The girls can learn about the array through the educational signage located in the building's lobby which is the shape of the Gold Award-- the ultimate award of achievement for a Girl Scout.
