The Green Mountain EnergyTM Sun ClubTM has already donated solar energy systems to almost 50 worthy non-profits across Texas, New York, and Pennsylvania; installed 550 kilowatts of solar power; and prevented more than 850,000 pounds of carbon dioxide since its founding in 2002.
Now we need your assistance finding our next solar donation recipients for 2014! Encourage your favorite non-profit to apply by filling out a form. Applications will be accepted through August 2, 2013.
Recipients are chosen based on some of the following criteria:
- A not-for-profit interested in hosting, owning and maintaining a solar generation system on its property.
- The organization’s mission and contribution to its community.
- The site of the installation is owned by the organization and located in the United States.
- Solar educational opportunities the organization will be able to provide to the public.
Qualified applicants will be contacted after August 2 for further review.
