If your home regularly uses more electricity, a plan that rewards higher usage could be a good fit.

Review your recent electricity bills to see how often your home uses 2,000 kWh or more. If it regularly does, you could benefit from the $150 bill credit.

If your home regularly uses 2,000 kWh or more per billing cycle, look for electricity plans designed around higher usage levels. Green Mountain Energy’s Pollution Free Green Savings Plus plan provides a bill credit when usage reaches at least 2,000 kWh during a billing cycle, along with 100% renewable energy.

Pollution Free Green Savings Plus is a fixed-rate renewable electricity plan from Green Mountain Energy. It provides 100% wind-powered renewable energy and a $150 bill credit when your electricity usage reaches at least 2,000 kWh during a billing cycle.

With the Pollution Free Green Savings Plus plan, you receive a $150 bill credit for each billing cycle in which you use at least 2,000 kWh. If you use less than 2,000 kWh, you will not receive the credit for that billing cycle. The credit does not increase if you use more than 2,000 kWh.

If you use less than 2,000 kWh during a billing cycle, you will not receive the usage-based bill credit for that cycle. Your bill will still include the applicable base charge, energy charge, TDSP delivery charges and other applicable charges.

The Pollution Free Green Savings Plus plan may be a good fit for larger homes or households that consistently use at least 2,000 kWh per billing cycle. Because electricity usage varies by home, review your previous bills to see how often you reach 2,000 kWh before choosing the plan.

Check your previous electricity bills or your Smart Meter Texas usage history to see your monthly electricity consumption in kilowatt-hours (kWh). Usage can vary based on home size, weather, HVAC use, appliances and household habits, so reviewing a full year of usage can give you a better picture of how often you reach 2,000 kWh.

Yes. The Pollution Free Green Savings Plus plan is a fixed-rate electricity plan. The applicable energy pricing is fixed for the contract term, although your total bill can still change based on electricity usage, TDSP delivery charges, taxes, regulatory charges and other applicable charges.

Yes. The Pollution Free Green Savings Plus plan provides 100% wind-powered renewable energy, allowing you to support renewable energy with your electricity plan.

With a renewable electricity plan, your home remains connected to the same Texas electricity grid. Renewable Energy Certificates, or RECs, are used to account for renewable electricity generated and added to the grid. Review your Electricity Facts Label for the renewable content associated with a specific plan.
