Customers in the CenterPoint Territory:

Customers in the AEP Territory:
The amount billed includes Transition Charges and System Restoration Charges that are the property of BondCo and not of Green Mountain Energy Company or AEP Texas Central Company.

Notice to residential customers concerning Critical Care Customer and Chronic Condition Customer designations.

You have a right to apply for a Critical Care or Chronic Condition designation, which are applicable if you have a person permanently residing in your home who has: been diagnosed by a physician as being dependent upon an electric-powered medical device to sustain life (“critical care”); or been diagnosed by a physician as having a serious medical condition that requires an electric-powered medical device or electric heating or cooling to prevent the impairment of a major life function through a significant deterioration or exacerbation of the person’s medical condition (“chronic condition”).  You can apply for the applicable designation, which affords certain protections, by contacting Green Mountain Energy Company at 1-866-785-4668 for an application, which your physician will need to complete and submit to your Transmission and Distribution Utility.

 

Please note that customers designated as Critical Care or Chronic Condition are not eligible for Pre-Pay Service. If, after enrollment, we receive notification from your TDSP that you have been designated as a critical care or chronic condition residential customer, we will work with you to transition you to a Green Mountain Energy post-paid product in a manner that avoids service disruption.
