Project Overview
The Museum of Nature & Science (now the Perot Museum of Nature and Science) was located in Dallas’ Fair Park in 2008. It had the mission to inspire minds by delivering exciting, engaging and innovative visitor experiences through its education, exhibition and research and collections programming. A modest Sun Club donation provided a small array which powered various electronic items inside the Children's Museum. The kids were offered the unique opportunity to power these exciting electronic devices directly with the power of the sun with just a push of a button, all while seeing the array outside the window. This interactive display inspired thousands of children for 5+ years before the museum moved locations and donated the equipment to another local learning center for children.
