Ensuring that consumers see Green Mountain Energy as the premier choice for renewable energy and garnering support for the company's mission of "changing the way power is made" are Rebecca's main focus. She leads a team responsible for brand strategy, marketing execution, customer communications, digital engagement, creative development and sales-related collateral.
She has served in multiple capacities during her marketing career, including developing mass media campaigns, which consisted of television, radio and billboard promotions, and creating customer communications and touch points for acquisition and retention. Rebecca has led teams to re-engineer creative formats, which resulted in increased response rates, a streamlined development process and an increase in team productivity. It's with her support and guidance that her teams have produced multiple award-winning communications recognized by marketing experts.
Rebecca's leadership in marketing communications spans many segments over many years. She has served a variety of audiences in the B2B and B2C worlds within the competitive energy market, insurance business and financial services industry.
When Rebecca is not spoiling her babies, Maggie and Thomas, who are also known as her feline family, she's exploring the food scene in Houston. She considers New York City her home away from home and supports many pet charities. She served on the steering committee for Women of Wardrobe, which is a division of Dress for Success. She also sits on the board of the Green Mountain Sun Club, a charitable program that supports solar and sustainability projects for nonprofit organizations. Rebecca earned her bachelor's degree in public relations from Texas Tech University.
