Cyndy Reynolds

Director, Commercial Sales

Cyndy joined Green Mountain Energy in 2010. She leads the national mid-market sales team for Green Mountain Energy and oversees the Sustainable Business Partnership initiative, which was created to help businesses with sustainability goals prove the value of going above and beyond the renewable electricity purchase.

Green inspiration

Experiencing our precious world through my children, like enjoying a beautiful lake or picking our homegrown strawberries in our garden, motivates me to personally and professionally make a positive environmental impact every day.

Why Green Mountain?

Our mission is simple and our environmental impact is great. We are all-in, every day, and with every customer we’re helping to expand the personal or corporate sustainability journey. What’s more to love than being a part of the solution?

Green contributions

At home, we plant flowers and trees, raise chickens, recycle, clean up litter, use reusable items like drinkware and bags and swap children’s clothing instead of buying new. I remind my children to “Save the Earth” whenever water is running or when lights are left on.

Andrea Ortega-Toledano

Director, Product Innovation

Andrea joined Green Mountain in June of 2014 and currently leads a team dedicated to developing new products related to water conservation, energy efficiency, electric vehicles and solar power to enhance sustainability on a larger scale. She also oversees sustainable partnerships, the strategy behind customer experience and the development of platforms to grow targeted markets.

Green inspiration

Being part of creating a brighter future for younger generations inspires me to continue to find more ways to keep our planet clean. No matter where our customers are in their sustainable journeys, they always want to do more to reduce their carbon footprint.

Eco-visions

I envision sustainability being an important part of the education system through hands-on programs outside the classroom. Educating younger generations will guarantee a path for a planet with more carbon neutrality.

Green contributions

For me, it starts at home. I teach my kids the importance of how our actions impact our immediate community and the world, and I am constantly bringing sustainability topics to their classes. I’m always so impressed by how much kids want to be part of creating a better future for themselves.

Rebecca Emrick

Director, Marketing

Ensuring consumers see Green Mountain Energy as the premier choice for renewable energy and garnering support for the company’s mission of “changing the way power is made” are Rebecca’s main focuses. She joined Green Mountain in 2005 and leads a team responsible for brand strategy, marketing execution, customer communications, digital engagement, creative development and sales-related collateral.

Green inspiration

As an animal lover and travel enthusiast, I’m constantly aware of the effects our actions as humans have on other creatures and the environment. We’re all interconnected, and I find that realization to be both humbling and highly motivating.

Why Green Mountain?

I’m so fortunate to work with such an amazing group of individuals with diverse backgrounds, experiences and skill sets. Our tight-knit team works together daily toward our common goal of making the world a better place, and we have a terrific time while doing it.

Eco-visions

In my lifetime, I’d love to see wind, solar and hydro power make up the majority of the world’s energy. Renewable energy has made great strides in the past decade, and I hope as more and more people embrace sustainable living practices, we’ll see a seismic shift in the way energy is produced.
