To receive alerts, you must be enrolled on the Pollution Free™ Power As You Go plan. If you are enrolled on that plan, call us at 866-785-4668 and provide the call center agent your mobile phone number. The agent will send you an activation code via text message on your mobile device. Please provide that activation code to the agent. Once the agent verifies that the activation code matches your mobile phone number, you will be sent a welcome message via text message on your mobile device, and you will begin receiving account alerts.
You can stop receiving text messages at any time by texting STOP to 73639 on your wireless device to be unsubscribed from all Green Mountain text messages sent to that phone number. (Important: Some Green Mountain SMS alerts may be required for customers on the Green Mountain Pollution Free™ Power As You Go Plan.)
Currently, text messages are only available to subscribers with United States phone numbers.
The number and frequency of text messages will vary based on the programs and selections for which you opted in. Green Mountain will not send any text messages that you do not opt in to receive.
Green Mountain does not charge a fee for text messages, but message and data rates may apply. Depending on your text plan, you may be charged by your wireless carrier.
