1. Use your power of influence
We all have that one friend or family member who could do a bit more for the planet—maybe they need to ease up on plastic water bottles or start a recycling bin. Have a heart-to-heart (it is the month for love) chat with them about how important it is for everyone to pitch in.
2. Switch to LEDs
The idea of switching all your lightbulbs can feel a bit daunting, so don’t do it all at once. Aim for two rooms a weekend, and you’ll probably finish in less than a month. Once you’ve made the switch, sit back and enjoy using 75% less energy than traditional bulbs (and having them last 25 times longer).
3. Consider solar, seriously
