We care about our customers and want to provide you with options to pay your energy bill if you are struggling financially. Ways to get help from the community.

You may be able to get support under the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program that provides financial assistance to aid with energy costs.

With payment assistance, you can:

  • Avoid paying late fees.
  • Get help with a portion or your entire bill and stress less about how you will pay it.
  • Stay cool in the summer and warm in the winter.

To find out if you qualify, call 2-1-1 or visit to learn about community assistance programs in your area. If you go to the website, enter “Electric Bill Assistance” in the search field along with your ZIP code to search for local programs. Keep in mind that it could take up to 8 weeks to receive financial assistance. Please note that assistance is given at the discretion of local agencies to eligible customers and not administered from 2-1-1 directly.

You may qualify for a payment extension or be eligible for a deferred payment plan, which will help you pay your past-due balance in installments.
