Doing Good for Local Communities and for the Planet

Nonprofit organizations have a tradition of giving by supporting their local communities with education, resources and assistance. But did you know that many of these same do-good organizations put the planet first by using sustainability solutions to shrink their carbon footprint?

The list below features recipients of grants from the Green Mountain Energy Sun Club,® which helps make nonprofits shine even brighter. Its mission is to invest in nonprofits to advance sustainability for people and for the planet. To date, the Sun Club has empowered nearly 100 nonprofit organizations and donated over $6.5 million to prevent more than 2.6 million pounds of CO2 emissions.
