Habitat For Humanity

Help a deserving family move into a home by volunteering with Habitat For Humanity! As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to work in all the stages of construction: framing walls, installing insulation, hanging drywall, laying down hardwood floor and tiling, painting the interiors, putting up trim and doing finish work. If you don’t have construction experience, that’s OK! HFH is looking for individuals with or without construction skills ages 16 and older. Central Park Conservancy

More than 35 million people visit Central Park every! Whether they’re from a faraway place, or local residents like you who use the Park every day, they might need help navigating the Park or have a general interest question. Help answer their questions and volunteer for the city by becoming a Central Park Greeter! Enhance visitors’ experiences by greeting, guiding and informing them about the Conservancy, upcoming events in the Park, and much more. Training is provided. All of the greeter programs require a minimum annual commitment of 48 hours. New volunteers need to fulfill this commitment in the first 6 months. New York Cares
