Volunteer for the Arboretum – Houston, TX

The Houston Arboretum and Nature Center offers several volunteer opportunities for those wanting to get up close and personal with nature:

  • Assist the Arboretum with maintaining the Wildlife Garden, Sensory Garden, in addition to other nearby gardens. It’s a great way to learn and expand your knowledge of local and native plants, butterflies, and hummingbirds! Sound interesting? Contact Lori Hutson, Volunteer Coordinator, at 713-681-8433 or email volunteer@houstonarboretum.org.
  • Due to the extreme drought and weather conditions, the Arboretum also seeks volunteers to assist in removing all the dead leaves, twigs, and plants near the building and driveway.
