Green Mountain Energy, together with Posterscope USA, is making the holiday season a little greener.
Earlier this year, we executed an advertising campaign in the Houston and Dallas areas to promote going green by choosing one of Green Mountain Energy’s renewable electricity plans. As part of the campaign, 10 vinyl billboards were placed across Texas.
In keeping with our mission, the vinyl material used on these billboards has now been recycled and made into tote bags and tablet sleeves, which will be distributed as gifts to Green Mountain customers and employees throughout the holidays.
As Mark McShane, vice president of Texas retail, said, “our commitment to sustainability is core to our mission. It’s important our marketing efforts are effective in reaching our key audiences, but it’s equally important those efforts align with our mission to help protect the environment.”
This initiative is just one of the many ways Green Mountain continues to promote sustainability and green living.
