Roses are red, violets are blue, but mountains are green, at least in our minds!
Valentine’s Day is a holiday intended to show love and appreciation for those oh-so-special people in our lives. The day is often filled with presents and candies and sweet cards from friends and loved ones. However, it can be stressful to secure that romantic dinner reservation weeks in advance, or ensure that you’ve bought the perfect gift to light up your loved-one’s eyes.
One alternative could be to celebrate in another way, and simplify the day.
Instead of dinner and a movie, take a romantic camping trip for a one or two night get-away. As cliché as it sounds, playing 20-Questions with your tent-mate, or going for a day-hike in your new surroundings might be more fun than a fancy dinner, anyway!
At night, light a campfire. Rock out with your honey to oldies with (weather resistant) rechargeable speakers. If the mood strikes you, keep the mood lighting with this lantern, powered by the sun or a hand-crank. Or, enjoy the dark and the silence!
And if you need your phone or laptop on-the-go, the Goal Zero Switch® 8-Recharger can power up your mobile device or headlamp. Check it out here.
