We asked some Dads in the Green Mountain family what they’d like to receive for Father’s Day, and we compiled some great (green) gift ideas!
While some fathers said that the best Father’s Day gift would be to get a little extra sleep while his wife got their children up and ready for the day, Dads with slightly older kids said that they look forward to receiving anything handmade by their children.
Most of them agreed that they prize having experiences with their kids over receiving tangible gifts. Consider getting the whole family together for a nice, home-cooked meal, or take everyone out for a bike ride or a hike in the park.
The great thing about creating handmade cards or crafts and spending quality time together is that these gifts are better for the environment as well. However, if you’re looking to spend a little green on Dad this year, our Energy Saver Store makes the energy efficiency shopping easy, and is just as eco-friendly.
