HOW DID YOU FIND YOUR WAY TO THE MOUNTAIN?
Back in 2002, my daughter Michelle was working at the Mountain and she heard that GMEC was hiring bilingual customer care reps. I was looking for a job at that time, and she told me about the job opportunity and the rest is history.
WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE GREEN MOUNTAIN MEMORY?
It was back in March 2008 when I was offered the position of SOPS Supervisor after working in Customer Care, Inside Sales and the SAVES departments.
WHAT’S THE MOST INTERESTING ASPECT OF YOUR DAY-TO-DAY?
Having the opportunity to work with and support so many people at different levels of our organization. From field sales agents to leads and managers in both the Texas and Northeast markets.
WHAT CHANGES WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE IN THE RENEWABLE INDUSTRY?
I would like to see the possibility to offer to residential consumers an array of devices that can produce renewable energy at affordable prices, like mini-windmills, solar panels and environmentally friendly generators. Anything that can help consumers to be less dependent on the grid and at the same time have an alternative to affordable and clean electricity.
WORDS OF WISDOM:
My father did not stop repeating an ancient Chinese proverb until I was able to learn and understand it, “Once you learn to love your job, you will never work again.” This is my daily goal; to love, enjoy and do my job with excellence. If I can achieve this every day, the other side of my life away from the office can be just as good!
