Confused About Your Bill? We Can Help!

Looking at bills definitely falls low on my list of fun things to do, and utility bills in particular can be tough to read.  On the other hand, I know how important it is to really understand what I’m paying for.

That’s why I’m excited to tell our residential customers that we’ve posted sample electricity bills on our website to shed some light on your Green Mountain Energy® electricity charges and to help you make more sense of your bill.  Just go to greenmountain.com/read-my-bill and select your service territory.

We also know that it can be a surprise when your electricity bill goes up from the previous month (or, a happier surprise, when it goes down!).  To learn more about why your bill might change from month to month, look for the “Why did my bill go up (or down)?” question on our FAQs.

And of course I can’t mention the word “bill” without putting in a little plug for paperless billing – it’s more convenient (good for you) and helps save trees (good for the environment)!  Our Texas customers can enroll through My Account, and our customers in other markets can enroll directly through your utility.
