Sun Club Donates 11 New Solar Arrays in 2012

We think our Sun ClubTM members are pretty awesome, but don’t take our word for it — look at all we accomplished in 2012 through their generous contributions!

The Green Mountain EnergyTM Sun ClubTM donated a total of $560,000 worth of new solar technology to eleven great non-profits:

  3. Dallas Arboretum & Botanical Gardens – Dallas, TX, 6 Solar Trams
  4. Rice University Habitat for Humanity – Houston, TX, 5 kW Solar Array
  5. Live Oak Classical School – Waco, TX, 6.75 Solar Array & Monitor
  6. Waco Habitat for Humanity ReStore – Waco, TX, 6.75 Solar Array & Monitor
  7. The Human Impacts Institute – Brooklyn, NY, Solar Generator
  8. Philabundance – Philadelphia, PA 2012, Solar Generator
  9. Perot Museum of Science and Nature – Dallas, TX, 3 Large Solar Hot Water Units & Educational Exhibits
  10. Gladys Porter Zoo – Brownsville, TX, 16 kW Solar Array & Educational Display
  11. Singularity Solar Energy – Denton, TX, 3.4 kW Solar Array
