Green Mountain Energy Makes Tree Donation as part of NFL, Super Bowl XLVI Contributions

Green Mountain Energy Company was thrilled to partner with Keep Indianapolis Beautiful for a tree planting event on Thursday, May 10th as the final piece of our efforts to green up Super Bowl XLVI.

Students planted the trees on the campus of Arsenal Technical High School in Indianapolis after the annual “Passing the Shovel” ceremony, which marks the transition of the NFL’s Environmental Program from the Indianapolis Host Committee to New Orleans as they prepare for Super Bowl XLVII.   It was a great event and we were honored to be there!
