Green Mountain Energy® Solar at the Waco Chamber of Commerce
Waco’s new environmentally-sustainable Chamber headquarters is now powered partly by solar energy, thanks to Big Texas Sun Club® members. The installation is the largest solar array in downtown Waco and is composed of 48 panels mounted on the roof. It will offset more than 26,500 pounds of carbon dioxide (CO2) annually—about as much CO2 as more than 1,500 trees would absorb in one year.
