Green Mountain Energy® Solar at Satori Elementary
School — Galveston

Satori students showed their support by decorating their school with artwork in celebration of the solar dedication.

The 440-foot solar array, mounted on the building’s roof was built with 16 photovoltaic solar panels that convert sunlight into electricity.

Students and school officials flip the switch to officially dedicate the new solar array.

Green Mountain’s mascot SuperEarth poses by the 2.8 kW solar array.

Satori students don sun masks and make friends with SuperEarth following the solar dedication ceremony.

Eagle Scout candidate and former Satori student plants an orange tree to help commemorate the solar dedication and Earth Day celebration.
