Green Mountain Energy Company is honored to be part of the first solar-powered Ronald McDonald House in the world! The Green Mountain Energy Solar^® at Ronald McDonald House—Austin is a 10.8 kW solar array—built with funds from Green Mountain customers who are members of the Big Texas Sun Club^®. It produces enough electricity to power half the rooms in this recently built eco-friendly facility for families of critically ill or injured children—giving them a place to rest, eat and share experiences with families of other children in similar situations.
