Children visiting the Museum of Nature & Science (MNS) can learn about how solar energy works thanks to a solar display donated by Green Mountain Energy Company’s Big Texas Sun Club^®.

The Green Mountain Energy^® Solar at the Museum of Nature & Science — Dallas is part of the Explore Your Backyard gallery in the Children’s Museum. The 640-watts array powers an indoor kiosk which demonstrates how solar panels convert the sun’s energy into electricity. The children can then power several interactive items directly with solar energy such as a neon tube and an electrical Jacob’s Ladder.
