• 1 kW solar array funded by Green Mountain Energy Company’s Big Texas Sun Club^®. This facility avoids over 2,600 pounds of CO₂ emissions annually, which is like not driving 2,900 miles!
  
• Has a monitor that transmits data to the internet and enables students to see how much pollution-free electricity is being generated each year
• Is incorporated into the curriculum and used as a teaching tool on renewable energy and the environment
• Helps the school reduce its CO₂ emissions and save energy and money
