Big Texas Sun Club®
It's hot in Texas. Why? The sun is a powerful source of energy. Solar panels harness the power of the sun and convert it into electricity. That's why Texans can join the Big Texas Sun Club and have an even greater impact in helping to change the way electricity is made in Texas.
Just by paying a $5.00 monthly membership fee, you can support new solar energy generation here in the state of Texas. With the help of thousands of Big Texas Sun Club members, new solar power is up and running in Texas right now. And that's just the beginning.
Big Texas Sun Club members have helped build 12 solar arrays in Texas, which are capable of generating almost 136 kW per year. These include a 43 kW array at Upper Kirby in Houston, a solar-powered exhibit at the Museum of Nature & Science—Dallas, and the first-ever installation of a solar array on a Ronald McDonald House.
