Supporting the Development of New Renewable Facilities:
- Green Mountain and our customers have helped support the development of 40 new wind and solar facilities across the U.S. In just one year, we estimate these clean energy facilities prevent the emission of 212,000 tons
of CO2.
Commitment to the Environment:
- Green Mountain is 100% carbon neutral and mitigates the impact of its greenhouse gas emissions from
corporate operations through participation in the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA’s) Climate Leaders program.
- Green Mountain has adopted the Ceres Principles and provides a public report that describes our sustainability initiatives.
- To demonstrate our commitment to product integrity, Green Mountain hires an independent third-party auditor to verify that our renewable energy and carbon offset purchases accurately match our retail sales volumes. To see
