What is the New Jersey CleanPower Choicesm program?
It is a statewide program recently approved by the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities, available only to all customers in New Jersey. It gives you a simple way to purchase clean renewable energy to match your monthly electricity usage. Green Mountain Energy Company is proud to make its 100% pollution free Green Mountain Energy electricity product available to eligible New Jersey customers through the CleanPower Choicesm program.

How much does Green Mountain Energy electricity cost?
In addition to your monthly utility charges, you will be billed an additional charge for your Green Mountain Energy electricity product of 2¢ per kWh. For a New Jersey home using 750 kilowatt hours of electricity in a month, that’s only $15 more per month in addition to your local utility charges for electricity.

Who do I call for customer service?
If you have a question about your Green Mountain Energy electricity product, please contact us. Your basic electricity service is still provided by your local utility and they will continue to read your meter, provide billing, respond to power outages, and provide other services related to the delivery of electricity. If you experience delivery problems (for example, if your lights go out), please contact your local utility. You can find contact information for your local utility on our contact page.
