Position Summary:


Position Summary: This position will be responsible for full cycle recruiting in the Houston area, including but not limited to sourcing, interviewing, and screening potential candidates. As a recruiter in this region, you will be primarily recruiting for sales agents, but will also recruit for other positions as needed. This position will report to the Houston Market Manager.

Position Responsibilities:

 

  • Recruits, interviews, checks references, makes offers, and conducts orientations
  • Assures the quality of sales agents presented to sales management
  • Assures staffing goals are met
  • Performs exit interviews
  • Acts as liaison to Corporate HR department
  • Provides guidance to hiring managers on policies and processes
  • Organizes and attends job fairs
  • Works with local college career offices on university recruitment activities
  • Utilizes online recruiting web sites
  • Handles confidential and time sensitive data
  • Generates weekly recruiting reports
  • Obtains a firm understanding of sales processes and customer base through job shadowing and customer contact events
  • Identifies key characteristics of successful Sales Agents to aid in recruiting quality candidates.
  • Works closely with field sales managers and HR Managers to achieve Sales Agent retention goals

Required Skills and Experience:


  • Requires a high school diploma, college degree a plus
  • Requires 3-5 years of sales recruiting experience
  • Must be familiar with a variety of the recruiting concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Requires experience exceeding set recruiting metrics
  • Familiar with online recruiting sites and techniques
  • Requires proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Requires experience in handling confidential data
  • 1-2 years of direct selling experience preferred
  • Must rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • Bilingual (Spanish)
  • Prefer experience with HR hiring paperwork processes (I-9, W-4, etc.)
