Position Summary:
Position will support GMEC’s training of Sales Agents primarily through the training of Team Leads and Regional Coordinators in the direct sales environment. Also, through close coordination with the Quality Assurance Manager, the position will be responsible for addressing and resolving any quality issues through approved training.
Position Duties:
- Ensures maximum effectiveness of sales force by implementing and reinforcing training programs.
- Review, revise and in some cases develop processes.
- Deliver and/or arrange with outsource vendor personnel to ensure that new-hire, recurrent, and new process implementation training is delivered to all Sales Agents in a timely manner.
- Audit D2D sales process for adherence to regulatory, messaging, dress, and documentation standards. Audits to be conducted on required documents, in the field sales presentations and customer follow up telephone calls.
- Document and report findings.
- Report quality statistics
- Work closely with the Quality Assurance Manager and Training Manager to streamline processes and ensure consistent messaging to all customers that is in line with company mission and in compliance with all legal stipulations.
- Maintain a master resource for all Sales Agent training materials and update as needed.
- Perform site visits and assessments (some extended travel required).
- Involvement in company-wide projects that impact Direct Sales activity.
- Potentially assist with QA efforts as determined/directed.
Requirements:
- Bilingual
- Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a sales environment
- 2-5 years of experience in outside sales, retention, and/or customer care training and/or QA environment is desired
- Ability to work independently with little direction, set goals, multitask, and prioritize competing responsibilities
- Ability to confidently and comfortably present information to a variety of levels within the organization including upper management
- Proficiency in the use of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Experience developing and analyzing reports is desired
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related area strongly preferred
Essential Functions:
- Some weekend work required
- Travel Required up to 75% initially, with the amount ramping down to approximately 50% after six to nine months.
