Partnership Sales Coordinator

Position Summary:
Green Mountain Energy Company is searching for a Partnership Sales Coordinator to establish new sales opportunity partnerships and maintains strong relationships with existing partners to generate residential customer sales for Green Mountain Energy Company. Works with Retail and Event Managers to ensure a diverse set of retail and event sales opportunities, and communicates detailed information about those opportunities.

Duties:

  • Focuses on acquiring & maintaining new and existing storefront partnerships and event sales opportunities, with support from Area & Market Managers. Opportunities to include traditional retail, event booth, non-profit organization alliances, corporate vendor days and other table sales opportunities.


  • Keeps detailed reports for each opportunity regarding peak times, staffing needs, signup and verified sales numbers, and positioning of booths.


  • Handles administrative duties regarding the reservation and payment for booth space or sponsorships, and tracks spending according to a preset area budget.


  • Makes advance trips to events as needed to verify access details, setup & equipment needs.


  • Manages Event Assistant for equipment setup and use of Super Earth Mascot and other assets.


  • Oversees the organizing and maintaining of booth equipment and company van.


  • Participates in oversight of events as needed.


  • Assists in maintaining storefront and non profit organization relationships. Make scheduled relationship calls to key storefronts and make fulfillment purchases for the team leader and/or area manager as warranted. In many cases would work the opening shift for a new storefront or event with or without a sales agent.


  • Personally generates sales according to an agreed goal/quota.


  • Participates in meetings with fellow Team Leaders and Area Manager, and track and report results & budget updates in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • At least two years of prior Business to Business sales experience required.


  • At least one year of prior Business to Consumer sales experience required.


  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications required.


  • Sincere interest in environmental protection and growth of renewable energy required.


  • High level of personal integrity and dependability, and access to independent transportation required.


  • College degree or equivalent experience required
