Position Summary:

Green Mountain Energy Company is seeking a Market Manager with outstanding relationship building and organizational skills. This position will be responsible for managing the sales, and recruiting efforts for our residential sales program in the Dallas Fort Worth, area, which includes teams in Dallas, Tarrant County, Killeen, Round Rock and Waco. The position’s primary responsibility is to spend the majority of their time in the field leading, motivating, teaching, and selling along side sales agents. This position will directly lead a retail sales team, and manage two additional team leaders. This position will ensure that teams and channels in the market meet and exceed daily, weekly, & monthly sales goals.

This position will manage a full time staff including a recruiter, a partnership coordinator, event set-up person and team leaders; and approximately 50 part time sales agents across several teams.

Position Responsibilities:

• Manage recruiter, which is responsible for staffing, payroll, and agent support
  
• Manage partnership coordinator, which is responsible for generating sales opportunities at storefronts, events, and retail stores.
  
• Manage sales team’s leaders to ensure that they achieve their sales goals.
  
• Manage cost per sales numbers and stay with-in monthly and annual budgets
  
• Provide support for all team members and help in any areas that need additional support
  
• Directly manage Retail sales team
  
• Generate daily sales updates
  
• Generate weekly sales reports for the market
  
• Work with stake holders across departments including, accounting, marketing, & public relations to support sales efforts
  

Required Skills and Experience:

• A sincere desire to help protect the environment is a plus
  
• Candidates must have proficient Microsoft Office application experience
  
• 5 years experience leading sales teams
  
• Must have strong documentation, communication and follow-up skills
  
• Knowledge of energy/deregulation strongly preferred
  
• Must be available to work evenings and weekends
  
• Ability to travel extensivly in DFW and surrounding area.
  
• College degree or equivalent experience required
