Position Summary:
Green Mountain is in search of a Retention Specialist fluent in Spanish interested in jump-starting their dynamic career. Every Retention Specialist has the potential to earn incentives. A training program is provided to assist you in building your knowledge of Green Mountain products, renewable energy, and how Green Mountain is truly changing the way power is made. We seek candidates who are committed to a professional, highly customer-focused call center environment.
Position Duties:
- Handle 40-50 inbound calls per day selling pollution free electricity
- Utilize premium brand scripting to guide prospects through the selling process
- Close prospects showing interest in Green Mountain Energy® electricity products
- Up-sell to our 100% Wind product
- Consistently up-sell our Big Texas Sun Club and Auto Pay add-on products
- Impact our Marketing and Sales Channel Teams by providing customer feedback
- Assist other team members with selling/closing techniques
- Self manage, manage time in queue taking inbound calls and manage limited daily outbound return calls
Experiences, skills, and education needed:
- Must speak Spanish fluently
- Must have a sincere desire to help protect the environment
- Customer care background a plus
- Previous call center experience in service or sales preferred
- Knowledge of energy/deregulation a plus
- Understanding of customer needs and inbound sales techniques preferred
- 2 Years sales experience a plus
- Ability to close with customers requesting call backs
- Experience/knowledge and understanding of selling a premium product by overcoming objections
- Must be available to work from 8:30am 5:30pm MF
